Il Liceo D’Azeglio Rende Omaggio agli Studenti C2 Proficiency a.s. 2023/24
In vista dell’esame Cambridge C2 CPE che si svolge oggi, desideriamo sottolineare lo straordinario successo degli studenti C2 dello scorso anno, i primi nella nostra scuola a raggiungere un tale livello di competenza linguistica con risultati notevoli nel Programma di Inglese Cambridge. Il loro prestigioso contributo rende la nostra scuola la prima e unica istituzione pubblica nella città di Torino ad aver formato una classe di livello C2, i cui allievi hanno ottenuto la relativa certificazione.
Durante il loro percorso di quattro anni, Penelope Bertagnoli (5G), Allegra Collotta (5G), Lucia Curti (5I) e Massimo Morato (5E) hanno dimostrato non solo un’etica del lavoro e una dedizione degne di nota, ma anche tenacia e risolutezza, superando diversi ostacoli, compreso il fatto che il corso di livello B1 è stato seguito esclusivamente online a causa delle limitazioni imposte dall’insorgere della pandemia di Covid-19. Proprio come i suoi predecessori, Lorenzo Grieco (3B), nonostante la sua giovane età, ha dimostrato un’eccezionale maturità e diligenza durante i due anni in cui ha seguito il programma, ottenendo risultati di eccellenza.
È con grande orgoglio e affetto che li ringraziamo oggi, poiché testimoniano il fatto che la lingua non è semplicemente una materia da studiare, ma, piuttosto, uno strumento interrelazionale, un’arte capace di evocare emozioni profonde, che ha la grande facoltà di unire le persone quando si relazionano l’una con l’altra con reciproca sincerità e rispetto. Veri pionieri del nostro Programma di Inglese Cambridge, si sono affermati come esempio indelebile per gli altri studenti. Ci congratuliamo, nella speranza che molti altri seguano le loro orme ora e negli anni a venire.
D’Azeglio High School Honors Last Year’s C2 Proficiency Students
In view of the C2 CPE Cambridge Exam taking place today, we wish to commemorate the tremendous, unprecedented success of last year’s C2 students, the first ever in our school to attain such a level of linguistic proficiency with remarkable results in the Cambridge English Program. Their prestigious contribution renders our school the first and only public institution in the city of Turin to form a C2 Proficiency class, allowing us to formally present candidates to Cambridge Assessment English, who ultimately received certificates for the aforementioned level of qualification.
Throughout their four-year journey, Penelope Bertagnoli (5G), Allegra Collotta (5G), Lucia Curti (5I), and Massimo Morato (5E) demonstrated not only noteworthy work ethic and dedication, but also tenacity and resolve, overcoming significant obstacles, including the commencement of their Cambridge education, as they partook in a B1 course offered exclusively online due to the limitations brought about by the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Much like his predecessors, Lorenzo Grieco (3B), his young age notwithstanding, exhibited exceptional maturity and diligence throughout his two years in the program, achieving distinction.
It is with immense pride and affection that we honor them today, as they bear testament to the fact that language is not merely a subject to study, but, rather, an interrelational instrument, an art capable of evoking profound emotion, thereby having the great faculty to bring people together when they genuinely offer themselves to one another with reciprocal candidness and respect. True pioneers of our Cambridge English Program, they have cemented themselves as indelible examples for their fellow students. We congratulate them, in the hopes that numerous more shall follow in their footsteps now and in the years to come.
